Hi, my name is Vanja and I stand behind the world of AmigurumiBB designs.
I have been into arts and crafts since I known about myself. All my life have been creating something. Drawing, painting, DIY anything you can imagine, worked the sculpture and pottery as well.
I like to create, like to help. I like making others happy. Seeing smile on other people’s faces is what brings joy and happiness into my life and gives me energy to continue in what I do.
Amigurumi? Just love creating it. To me it feels as putting together painting (the color), sculpture (creating the shape), crafting (crocheting itself), so it fills me completely and makes me very, very happy. Final satisfaction is seeing wide smile on children’s faces having in hands one of my creations. That is priceless!
That is why I started this blog. To share my passion about amigurumi and other arts and crafts I like and do. To find out what other artists and crafters are doing. To teach others with this little that I know, and to learn as much as I can from all of you there that are wiling to share the knowledge.
For 7 years amigurumi was my hobby, but as from December, 2017. it started to be my profession.

I’m Pauline from Malaysia. Thank you for inspiring all of us! I can’t design amigurumi very well, and wow, you are really really good!! I love all your patterns, and I can’t decide which one to start first! I started with BB Dragon, and oh la la, the finished dragons look so adorable!! The first BB dragon was made for a friend’s 3 year-old daughter, she loved it to max! I made them again for my cousin as she wanted to give to her best friend as wedding present, and then I decided to put the picture up in facebook. The feedbacks were wonderful and in fact some of them requested me to make and sell to them! Question is, can I get your permission to sell them? I’m learning to design them slowly and hope they’ll be as good as yours someday! 😀

Thank you for stopping by and leaving comment. Glad you like my patterns. Hope you’ll give them a try some day soon as well. Most of the dolls are 15-20 cm tall. I use medium weight yarn and work with 2,5 mm crochet hook. And always use cotton yarn. 😉
i feel you, my day job is finance too but im really not that exciting announcing it as it do not define my imagination and crafty hands and generally who iam 😉 so glad there are other like me and also i can share my love for arts, crafts & DIY. you are very talented and your designs are so unique and cute, love them, thank you for sharing them !!! I was always for arts and crafts but at certain point life took me to completely opposite direction, finances and management! That didn’t bring me any good and I am glad I am recovering through my crafts.
